Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 27, 2026
FairPull ("we", "us") operates fairpull.com, an independent tool that estimates Pokémon card market prices and surfaces eBay listings. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. Questions: deals@fairpull.com.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address, when you sign in (authentication is handled by our provider, Supabase).
- Watchlist & preferences — the cards you watch, your discount thresholds, and display settings (theme, card size).
- Usage analytics — privacy-friendly, cookieless aggregate analytics (Umami): page views and referrers, with no cross-site tracking, no advertising cookies, and no personal profiles.
- Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) used for security and reliability.
Cookies & local storage
We use only strictly-necessary cookies/local storage for your sign-in session and display preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and our analytics is cookieless. When you click through to eBay, eBay may set its own cookies under its own policies.
How we use your information
- To run the service — create and authenticate your account, maintain your watchlist, and deliver the core features (deals surface in-app only; we do not send deal-alert emails).
- To send administrative messages — sign-in emails and important account, security, or policy updates.
- To respond to your inquiries — support and questions you send us.
- To secure and protect the service — diagnostics, abuse and fraud prevention, and reliability.
- To understand and improve usage — aggregate, cookieless analytics so we can make the product better.
We process your information only when we have a valid reason to do so, and we never use it for behavioral advertising.
Legal bases (EEA / UK users)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process your data on these bases: to provide the service and your watchlist (performance of our agreement with you); and to secure, maintain, and improve the product (our legitimate interests). You can object to legitimate-interest processing by emailing us.
Affiliate links
FairPull participates in the eBay Partner Network. When you click an eBay link and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission. This never changes the price you pay.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run FairPull: Supabase (authentication & database), Resend (sign-in email delivery), eBay and PokemonPriceTracker (listing & price data), Umami (cookieless analytics), and our hosting provider. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep account data while your account is active. eBay-derived listing data is purged within 30 days, per eBay's API terms. You can delete your account at any time to remove your data.
Categories of personal information
In the past 12 months we have collected, for the purposes above, the following categories of personal information (as defined by California and similar US state laws): identifiers (your email and IP address), internet or network activity (cookieless analytics about how you use the Services), and approximate location (country/region inferred from your IP address). We have not collected sensitive information or the other statutory categories (such as financial, biometric, precise geolocation, or demographic data), and we have not sold or shared any personal information.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR/UK GDPR, US state laws such as California's, and Canadian law — you may have some or all of these rights over your personal information: to know and access what we hold; to correct inaccuracies; to delete it; to obtain a portable copy; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent (anytime, by contacting us); and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We extend these rights to all our users as a matter of policy, whether or not a specific law requires it.
We do not sell or share your personal information (as those terms are defined under California and other state laws) and do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising or profiling — so there is nothing to opt out of, and no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link or process is required. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, there is likewise nothing for it to act on; if our practices ever change, we will honor it where the law requires.
To make a request, email deals@fairpull.com. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires, and you may use an authorized agent where the law permits. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision at the same address. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Do Not Track
Most browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting, but there is no agreed industry standard for honoring it, so — like most services — we do not respond to DNT signals. Because we don't sell, share, or use your data for advertising, a DNT signal has nothing to opt out of on FairPull.
Children
FairPull is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; by using FairPull you represent that you are at least 18, or that a parent or guardian consents to and supervises your use. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us personal data, contact deals@fairpull.com and we will delete it.
Security & international processing
FairPull is intended for users in the United States, and we do not direct the service to the EU, UK, or other regions. We use reasonable measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We're based in the United States, so your data is processed there. If you choose to use FairPull from the EEA or UK, we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (and equivalent UK provisions) with our service providers as the safeguard for that transfer; some providers may additionally be certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. A copy of the relevant safeguards is available on request.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Continued use of FairPull means you accept the current policy.
